Meet Carrie Ann:

Hi everyone! I’m Carrie Ann Belanger, the founder of Veza, an embodied movement studio. My passion is to empower people to connect deeply with life through their bodies and their environment, to build an inner strength and resiliency, and to cultivate a vibrant and joyful life. I’ve had the privilege of studying under wise and generous teachers such as Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen (founder of Body-Mind Centering), Perry and Johanna Holloman, Deborah Anne-Meadows, and Rob Wilkes from Esalen (Deep Bodywork and Esalen massage), Wendy Le-Blanc Arbuckle (founder of the Pilates Center in Austin) and many others over the last 20+ years who have graciously shared their wisdom. It is my aspiration to follow in their footsteps, creating and nurturing a space for you to embrace your curiosity, dive deeply into your own exploration, discover your unique path, and listen to the wisdom that resides within you. I use meditation, somatics, Pilates, yoga in the style of Embodied Flow, and other movement modalities as languages and vehicles for our shared exploration of our relationships to ourselves, one another, and the world that surrounds us. Through these practices, I aim to facilitate a deeper sense of connection and empower you to live a life marked by greater ease and freedom. Life is ever changing, and it is our ability to be soft, strong, receptive and responsive that allows us to flow with whatever life might bring us. I’m here to be a guide and facilitator who supports you as you find new ways to experience your life in the fullest and most fulfilling way possible. I’m so grateful for the privilege to share what I love with all of you at Balance Yoga & Wellness! Looking forward to connecting!
